FAQ’s

Why is Annual Giving necessary?

Annual Giving Campaign contributions are an integral component of the yearly operating budget and are counted upon to keep tuition to a minimum, which is vital to maintaining economic and social diversity.  At the Galinsky Academy, tuition and endowment cover only 80% of the annual expenses. Annual Giving is needed to fill this gap to support essential school programs that directly benefit every student at the four Academy Schools.

Why is it so important for you to participate?

The Galinsky Academy is a wonderful community of students, parents, grandparents, faculty, alumni, and friends. By supporting the campaign, you become an active member of this community and express your faith in the mission of the Academy. Your gift, large or small, matters because participation demonstrates the strength of the school and provides the impetus for further support.

Can a gift be made in honor or memory of an individual?

We graciously welcome such considerate gifts. Indicate your intentions at the time of giving.  We will send an acknowledgement to those you wish to receive notice of your tribute.

How are matching gifts acquired?

Many employers are committed to supporting the charitable giving of their employees by matching their contributions. Contact your human resources department to determine if your employer has a matching gift program. Many companies also match gifts of their retirees and board members.

Why make a donation now?

While gifts and pledges will be accepted through May 31, your early commitment to the Annual Giving Campaign shows your support for the Academy, encourages others to follow your lead, and allows the Academy to plan for upcoming needs.

How much should you give?

We ask that you give the most generous gift you can. Our goal is 100% participation by parents (past and present), grandparents, alumni, faculty and we also invite our friends to join as we all give from generation to generation…L’Dor V’Dor.
